Kate Oscarson took her firstAmerican Tribal Style Bellydance with Jennifer Nolan in Spring of 2007 during a blizzard. It has not gotten any less exiting since.
Kate is a troupe member of Tamarand Tribal Bellydance, and is also a FatChanceBellyDance Sister Studio. She teaches through the Milwaukee and Cudahy Rec Department.
Kate enjoys bringing women, through her troupe's performances and her classes, the opportunity to experience a dance that promotes collaboration, not competition; sisterhood, not cattyness; and that embraces the natural female form.
Kate also enjoys being silly!
Tamarind Tribal is a FatChanceBellyDance American Tribal Style Belly Dance Troupe out of Milwaukee WI. These six women's love of dance and appreciation for each other drives them not just to excel, but also to have fun doing it!
Directed by Jennifer Nolan, Tamarind Tribal also includes Beth Nicholson, CrystalZ, Danielle Goetz, Jeanette Ward, Juliet Jaeger, Karen Goetz, Kate Oscarson, and Kimberly Goins. All of our members have received their General Skills Certification from Carolena Nericcio. Our instructors are also FatChancebellyDance certified teachers and Sister Studios. We strive to give you the very best instruction in American Tribal Style bellydance!
